In 2020, we hosted an online-only version of the Yough Defense Party. The event went well and we are so thankful that our friends participated through an online auction and raffle tickets. Our supporters provided $10,000.00 in monetary donations for the Yough Defense Fund.
The 2021 Yough Defense Party was held at Falls City Pub in Ohiopyle, PA on Thursday, November 18. Live music was provided by Ferncliff Collective and Hemlock (a duo, Rachel Shepler and Paul Martin). We had an in-person silent auction with tons of outdoor gear and handmade goods from local artisans. We also hosted an online auction with a select few items. This year’s YDP looked more familiar to past events, only with additional outdoor space to help the crowd spread out. This year’s YDP brought in $20,000 for the Yough Defense Fund.
We are hopeful 2022 will be even sweeter than this year’s Party. The Mountain Watershed team looks forward to the Yough Defense Party each year. It’s a fantastic opportunity to catch up with our volunteers and supporters!
